Principal - Simon Bittlestone, CGMA, FCMA, MA Oxon
An executive, NED and business advisor with experience at multiple stages from start-ups to publicly listed companies, and in the US, Europe and Asia, Simon has deep experience in M&A, investment raising, turn-around and driving business performance.
Simon is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has served on the board of AICPA-CIMA, the largest global membership body of accountants, chairing the organisation in 2024-25.
As investments and Portfolio Director at Bos Capital from June 2024 – May 2025, Simon was responsible for multiple acquisitions and the turn-around of several of the portfolio businesses. Bos Capital is the private equity arm of the Wayne Bos family office, with a portfolio of eight businesses in the services and technology industries based in the UK, India and Australia.
Prior to this, amongst several other roles, Simon co-founded Trove, a startup focused on transforming employee engagement in the hybrid working world and worked alongside the founder of PTC to launch the private credit firm whose advisory board he now chairs.
Simon was CEO of Metapraxis, a financial analytics technology company that provides decision support software solutions to the some of the world’s largest and most complex businesses, from 2012 – 2023, having started his career in 2005 at Xchanging PLC (now part of CSC).
